Hello and welcome! I am an assistant professor in the Storage of Electrochemical Energy (SEE) section, Department of Radiation Science & Technology (RST), TU Delft.
Realizing high power in high-energy electrochemical energy storage (EES) is vital for a sustainable future, as it keeps renewable grids stable, allows e-mobility to charge within minutes, and powers industry with reliable bursts of energy. Yet combining high power with high energy remains a grand challenge, as enhancing redox activity often slows charge transfer.
This challenge drives my research: I co-design electrodes and electrolytes across diverse systems, turning mechanistic insight into devices that push performance limits.
Thank you for visiting my website.
Ambitious research requires innovative initiative and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Happy to discuss and establish collaborations on various topics listed on the "Project" page, and in-situ characterizations (EQCM, UV-vis, XRD, NDP, and FTIR).
